Plate 00 — Title block

Skill is a structure. We build it to spec.

Skill Link Tech Private Limited draws up technical skilling the way an engineer draws up a part — measured, dimensioned, tested against the load it has to carry. We run programmes in embedded systems, industrial automation, software and data, and we carry the same method online through Skillifyedu, our platform of 180+ courses.

Position

Between a technical degree and a technical job sits a gap nobody owns. We own it.

The gap is not knowledge. Graduates arrive fluent in theory and lost in front of a terminal block. What is missing is the habit of specification — reading a requirement, sizing it, building to tolerance, proving it works, and writing down what you did so the next person can pick it up. That habit takes hours on real hardware and real codebases, under someone who will tell you plainly that it is wrong.

So our programmes are shaped like a drawing rather than a lecture series. Each one has a title block: who it is for, what it delivers, how long it takes, what it is measured against. Each has revisions, dated and signed. Each ends with a build that a hiring engineer can inspect — a board that boots, a line that runs, a service that stays up under load.

We work three ways: directly with learners, inside colleges as a training partner, and inside companies whose teams need to move to a new stack without stopping work. The method does not change. Only the drawing does.

Programme ledger

Seven sheets in issue. Select a row to open the sheet.

Bare-metal to network edge. Learners bring up a board from the datasheet, write drivers against the register map, then push telemetry through a broker to a dashboard they also build. Final submission is a working node with a schematic, a bill of materials and a power budget.

  • C for constrained targets
  • ARM Cortex-M bring-up
  • Register-level drivers
  • I2C · SPI · UART
  • RTOS scheduling
  • MQTT telemetry
  • Power budgeting
  • Board debug & JTAG
Cohort 24Contact 480 hrAssessment: build + defence

Built around a live conveyor and sorting rig. Learners wire the panel, ladder-program the sequence, tune the drive, then supervise the cell from a screen they configured. Safety interlocks are designed first, not last.

  • Panel wiring & loop checks
  • Ladder & function block
  • VFD commissioning
  • Sensor selection
  • SCADA tag design
  • HMI screen layout
  • Modbus · Profinet
  • Interlocks & E-stop logic
Cohort 20Contact 400 hrAssessment: cell handover

One product, carried the whole way. Learners take a brief, model the data, ship an API, build the client, write the tests, then run it in production for six weeks while it is reviewed like a real service — with an on-call rota and a postmortem for every outage.

  • Data modelling
  • HTTP API design
  • Typed front-end
  • Authentication
  • Test strategy
  • CI & release
  • Observability
  • Code review practice
Cohort 24Contact 460 hrAssessment: service in production

Numbers with consequences. Learners are handed a messy operational extract and a decision somebody has to make. They clean it, model it, and defend a recommendation in front of a panel that pushes back on the method, not the slide design.

  • SQL depth
  • Warehouse modelling
  • Python for analysis
  • Statistical inference
  • Pipeline scheduling
  • Metric definition
  • Visual grammar
  • Written recommendation
Cohort 24Contact 300 hrAssessment: panel defence

For teams already carrying a pager. We take an existing application and move it, in the open, from a hand-built server to a described, versioned, recoverable platform — then break it on purpose to see whether the recovery holds.

  • Infrastructure as code
  • Containers & registries
  • Orchestration basics
  • Pipelines & artefacts
  • Secrets handling
  • Backup & restore drills
  • Cost accounting
  • Incident review
Cohort 16Contact 220 hrAssessment: restore drill

Drawing to part. Learners model an assembly, tolerance it properly, produce manufacturing drawings a machinist will accept without a phone call, then cut the part and measure how far reality drifted from the model.

  • Parametric modelling
  • Assemblies & mates
  • GD&T
  • Drawing standards
  • Sheet metal & weldments
  • CAM toolpaths
  • Fixturing
  • Metrology & inspection
Cohort 20Contact 360 hrAssessment: machined part

Runs alongside every other sheet. Writing a fault report. Explaining a design to a non-specialist. Reading a job brief for what it actually asks. Sitting an interview without folding at the first follow-up question.

  • Technical writing
  • Fault reporting
  • Design walkthroughs
  • Aptitude & reasoning
  • Interview practice
  • Portfolio assembly
Cohort 60Contact 90 hrAssessment: mock panel

Skillifyedu

Our online platform. The ledger above is what we teach in a room; this is what we teach at scale — a catalogue of 180+ courses, bought, taken and certified online.

Live at skillifyedu.com

Master the skills that drive your career forward.

Skillifyedu carries the same method into a self-serve catalogue: entry-level to advanced-professional courses across technology, data, business and design, each with a stated duration, a salary band for the role it points at, and a completion certificate. A four-question assessment recommends a starting course in five minutes. Instructors and independent creators can publish to it.

  1. 01 Lifetime access to course materials
  2. 02 Industry-certified completion certificate
  3. 03 One-to-one mentorship sessions
  4. 04 Career placement assistance
  5. 05 Community support, around the clock

Pathway

Five nodes. A learner is only advanced when the node behind them is signed off.

  1. N1

    Intake

Application, a short technical conversation, and a written statement of what you want to be able to do.

  2. N2

    Diagnostic

A three-hour bench test. It sets your starting layer — not your worth. Some learners skip Foundation entirely.

  3. N3

    Build

Core discipline and applied build, run as a workshop. Weekly submissions, weekly critique, no grade curve.

  4. N4

    Lab hours

Unstructured bench access with a technician present. This is where competence actually forms.

  5. N5

    Placement

Portfolio review, introductions to hiring partners, and a follow-up at three, six and twelve months.

Plate 06.B

For industry

Teams rarely need a course. They need to be able to do a specific thing by a specific date, without taking the line down.

  1. 01 Skill gap assessment on your own stack and equipment
  2. 02 Closed cohorts run around shift patterns
  3. 03 Migration programmes — legacy controls, legacy code
  4. 04 Trainee pipelines, screened and pre-trained to your spec
